Anthony Nguyen, attorney and shareholder at Los Angeles-based employment discrimination firm Shegerian & Associates, will be attending the 2016 NAPABA Convention beginning November 3rd in San Diego, California.
The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association was established in 1988 with a mission to be the voice of Asian Pacific American attorneys, law professors, judges, and law students. Its annual convention serves as a valuable networking and educational opportunity for Asian Pacific American legal professionals across the country.
Nguyen, who is also a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and Vietnamese American Bar Association of Southern California, considers it an honor to be a part of the NAPABA. “The NAPABA is dedicated to achieving equal opportunities for Asian Americans, a matter that I deal with on a regular basis as an employment law attorney in California,” Nguyen says. “I’m proud to be a member of an organization that has fought tirelessly to eliminate hate crimes and anti-immigrant sentiment towards the Asian American community.”
“The agenda for this year’s convention is packed with opportunities to learn how to promote justice and opportunity for Asian Americans,” Nguyen continues. “I look forward to using the skills I learn at the convention to protect the civil rights of my Asian American clients.”
