William Goldstone

Associate Attorney

William Roderick Zorthian Goldstone is an Associate Attorney at Shegerian & Associates. Goldstone’s practice focuses on employment disputes arising under the Fair Employment and Housing Act of California and related statutes. Goldstone also has considerable experience as a defense attorney at a prestigious defense firm. With valuable experience on both sides of the bench, Goldstone enjoys leading his clients through the gauntlet of civil litigation and resolving matters to his clients’ total satisfaction.

Goldstone earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Illinois College of Law on a full-tuition scholarship, where he served on the boards of multiple student organizations. During this time, Goldstone also served as a Student Law Clerk in the Office of the City Attorney of Los Angeles, where he became familiar with novel land use issues faced by the City. Goldstone earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in English Literature and served as president of his fraternity, Sigma Phi.

Before his time as an attorney at Shegerian & Associates, Goldstone had the privilege of working as a leader of teams of recently paroled prisoners with substance abuse issues at a nonprofit. Goldstone also volunteered his time and expertise by tutoring inmates in San Quentin State Prison, and at not-for-profit organizations such as the Innocence Project and the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic of Southeast Louisiana Legal Services.
