Kate Willis

Kate Willis, a passionate advocate for employees, was born and raised in Georgia. She earned her degree in International Affairs from the University of Georgia before relocating to Los Angeles, where she spent several years working for a nonprofit organization. Kate then pursued her Juris Doctorate (JD) from Loyola Law School, where she distinguished herself as an award-winning moot court competitor, excelling in both oral and written advocacy.

During her time at Loyola, Kate honed her skills as a law clerk at a nonprofit organization, where she represented clients in eviction proceedings and developed a deep commitment to advocating for marginalized communities. Her interest in social justice led her to focus on tenant’s rights after passing the California State Bar exam in 2022.

Kate’s passion for advocating on behalf of individuals facing injustice ultimately led her to employment law, where she has since specialized in litigating wage and hour class actions and PAGA actions on behalf of employees at a plaintiff’s firm. Her experience in both tenant’s rights and employment law has equipped her with the tools to fight for those who have been treated unfairly in various legal contexts.

Outside of her professional life, Kate enjoys exploring creative hobbies and staying engaged with her community.
