Paula Vasquez

Paula Vasquez brings a strong work ethic, deep commitment to service, and a passion for advocacy to her role at Shegerian & Associates. Her journey began early — starting her first job at just 11 years old working on a cotton farm alongside her father. Raised by parents who were an immigrant and a migrant worker, Paula carries with her the values of perseverance, hard work, and the transformative power of education, all of which shape her practice of law today.

Before entering the legal field, Paula earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University and went on to serve as Accounting Director for Tigris Real Estate, LLC, a fast-growing development company in Lubbock, Texas. In that role, she developed strong skills in leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration — skills she continues to draw upon in her legal career.

Paula earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where she worked with the Pepperdine Legal Aid Clinic. This experience deepened her commitment to advocating for underserved communities and inspired her focus on civil litigation. Since then, she has honed her skills in research, writing, negotiation advocacy, and trial preparation. At Shegerian & Associates, Paula is proud to represent working people — the backbone of society — by fighting for employees’ rights and ensuring they receive the justice they deserve.

Outside of the office, Paula enjoys exploring Los Angeles, from discovering new restaurants and attending sporting events to hiking, concerts, and volunteering in the community.
