Prior to his time at law school, he founded and served as President of the Yorba Linda 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit Association. His leadership and dedication earned him Certificates of Recognition from California Senator Josh Newman and Assemblyman Philip Chen for his support of Junior Marines and their families.
