Matthew Lavi

Matthew Lavi, a dedicated advocate for justice, began his legal career at Shegerian & Associates as a post-bar law clerk after taking the California Bar Exam. In this role, he gained extensive experience in law and motion practice, drafted pleadings, and managed discovery, which led to his promotion to an associate attorney position. Prior to joining Shegerian & Associates, Mr. Lavi built a well-rounded foundation in civil litigation by working at several renowned firms. His experience in handling all aspects of civil litigation has made him a versatile and valuable member of any legal team.

Mr. Lavi earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California before pursuing his Juris Doctor at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, he distinguished himself by actively participating in legal organizations and advocating for clients through the Community Lawyering Clinic, where he successfully represented underserved individuals.

Mr. Lavi’s commitment to fighting for fairness and justice ultimately led him to employment law, where he now focuses on advocating for employees who have faced workplace injustices. His diverse background equips him with the tools to navigate complex legal challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes for his clients.

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Lavi enjoys attending sporting events, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
